Check out what you'll find in Craftville's Vendors tent at the Tomato Arts Festival
Monday, August 8, 2011 The Tomato Art's festival is only 5 days away and here at Craftville we couldn't be more excited!

Last month at the Porter Flea we tried out one of our craftiest ideas to date, the Vendors Sampler Booth. It was a huge success.
This Saturday we will be back at it again. This time with 2 booths, even more vendors and CRAFTS!!! That's right..... In keeping with the Craftville style and celebrating the love of the tomato we will be teaching you how to make uber cute tomato hair clips and pins.
Craftville is honored to showcase the talents of the following vendors:
Sisters Of Nature - Sisters of Nature is a handmade label featuring items for special occasions. Whether it's the birth of a new baby, a fancy party you've been looking forward to, a wedding, finding a unique gift for a close friend, or you're just wanting to make your home more "you", I'd like to help make all those moments even more special for you.

Shine Craft - My garden of metalwork and gemstone jewelry, handmade by forging metals, fusing silver, and wireworking stones and glass, inspired by whatever my mind takes a shine to.

Katie Lynne Vance - Katie lynne vance creative brings you handmade upcycled tshirt necklaces. Tshirt knit reused to create wearable art. Solids available in black, grey, fall green, purple, brown, and cream. Otherwise all unique depending on tshirt availability.
Pine Street Makery - Handprinted greeting cards, prints, tote bags and hootenany

Restoration Project - I love re-imaging old things because they remind me of beautiful moments from my past. Bringing out the beauty in discarded items fills me with a special kind of happiness. I have a friend who told me this was a classic case of "issues to income". ;)

The Dancing Brush - Unique, textural, abstract art with an uplifting feel. Every piece is created with love and lots of joy and is completely unique!

Madame Moxie - In Madame Moxie you will find a wild array of hand-crafted accessories.

Music City Suds - Our products pay homage, not only to the country music that has built this city, but to the self-reliant farmland that surrounds it. We believe in using all natural, vegetarian ingredients. As a matter of fact, if it weren't for the lye, you could eat any of our soaps over a steaming bowl of grits. We use no artificial colors, scents, or additives. No harsh chemicals or skin-irritating minerals. Our colorants are food grade (and are often derived from locally grown produce) and all of our fragrances are from pure essential oils. Even our packaging is earth-friendly. Each bar of soap comes wrapped in a sheet of reclaimed sheet music with a band of partially recycled paper stock.

Wee Frills - Wee frills is my cottage industry of sewing handmade toys and dolls. I strive for careful toy making with mostly natural materials.

Meretricious Creations - I have a passion for vintage & antiques that stretches back as far as I can remember. I love the thrill of the hunt, finding old & forgotten items that I can bring back to life in a new way. In the last decade I have taken to recycling all that which is broken and obsolete into new, usable décor and jewelry. I hate to think of something beautiful or unusual being thrown out when it can be turned into something new and vital.

Joseph Dunn - Hailing from Jackson, Mississippi, Joseph Dunn is breaking his way into the Nashville Art scene with his folk style paintings.

Scott-Ellis School of Irish Dance - The Scott-Ellis School of Irish Dance is Williamson County’s first Certified Irish Step Dance school. We are a fully-certified, comprehensive Irish dance school providing a fun, well-balanced, and challenging educational environment of traditional and modern Irish dance, from beginner to championship level. In the Craftville vendors tent the students will be selling tomato snowflakes to raise money for their school.
We look forward to seeing you there :-)
Stay Crafty My Friends,
Robyn
