CRAFTVILLE is a Nashville-based not for profit organization dedicated to nurturing the craftsperson in everyone. Through conversation, encouragement, and education, we provide a nest for Nashvillians to create and share their handmade goods. Our dream is to be the heart of the city's crafting community.

Brick Factory

Here in Craftville we are SUPER excited to announce the opening of an awesome new art-making facility, Nashville's very own Brick Factory

Located in historic Cummins Station, Brick Factory Nashville is a facility with creative, innovative, and technological resources for members of the community; it is for those who wish to teach and those who seek to learn.

Click on ABOUT to watch an excellent video about Brick Factory.

Or click on CLASSES to see descriptions of all the classes Brick Factory is currently offering. Includes workshops on printmaking, woodworking, aerial dance, photography, drawing, 3d design, and more! They are also looking for qualified instructors on all sorts of creative topics, so if you've ever wanted to teach a class but didn't have the space to do it, now's your chance.

And don't forget, you can pop into Brick Factory for their totally bangin' Aftercrawl party on the first Saturday of each month after Nashville's Monthly Downtown Art Crawl

Yay! We're sure hoping they have their SUPERFUN photobooth set up next time, too:

See you there, Crafters!

Vendor Alert! Autumn Equinox Arts & Crafts Market at Clothing Xchange

Hey there, Crafters!

Our good friends at Clothing Xchange have organized an in-store Arts Market with NO BOOTH FEES for the following dates:

September 23rd 5p-8p
September 24th 12p-5p
September 25th 12p-5p

And we need vendors!

Each crafter/artist/artisan/designer will be assigned a space in the store to set up their goods and sell them through Clothing Xchange. Instead of charging a booth fee, Clothing Xchange has offered to take only 10% of vendor sales and give 10% to Craftville. This means that should you participate, you will receive 80% of your sales, Clothing Xchange will take 10% for use of the space, and Craftville will receive 10% for our man-hours and man-power in organizing the event.

Best of all, you can choose whichever day(s) and time(s) work best for you! Vendors are welcome to participate for one, two, or all three days. Just send an email to clothingxchange@comcast.net ATTN: EMILY by this Sunday, the 18th, including: your name, what day(s) you would like to participate, 2-3 jpegs of your wares, and your Etsy store or website (if applicable).

Please respond with questions/comments below.

Emily

P.S. I can't wait to see all of your lovely faces and incredible handiwork @Clothing Xchange!
