Craftville Brings A Caravan of Crafts to Porter Flea, July 9th!

In cooperation with the super awesome Porter Flea folks – Craftville, Inc. is hosting it’s first ever, super experimental, hush-hush, top secret…..Vendor Sampler Booth! Well, guess it’s not really hush-hush and top secret…cuz we have a spec-tac-uuu-laaaaar line up of vendors!

The Sampler Booth is one of our craftiest ideas yet- in support of those vendors who may be limited by cost or low yield production. Craftville, Inc. sponsors the booth, taking care of all initial fees and then shares the cost among the vendors. We also set up & staff the booth! This is our first go at it and are so excited! We have plans to do at least one more during the Summer festival season…so stay tuned!

Craftville will also have an DIY booth with free demonstrations, as well as paid Make & Take tutorials! Oh yes! We will be crafting too! Duh…it’s Craftville! It’s what we do.


So c’mon out next Saturday, July 9th and support Craftville vendors and a host of other amazing artisans, crafters and purveyors of vintage goods at Porter Flea!

WHAT THE CARD?!

All of our cards dip into the bizarre, the weird, the wonderfully strange. All of the illustrations on the cards are originals. None of them have been copied or scanned. Each card is unique. They are the perfect sentiment for those times when you're just not sure what to say or how to say it.

MERETRICIOUS

I have a passion for vintage & antiques that stretches back as far as I can remember. I love the thrill of the hunt, finding old & forgotten items that I can bring back to life in a new way. In the last decade I have taken to recycling all that which is broken and obsolete into new, usable décor and jewelry. I hate to think of something beautiful or unusual being thrown out when it can be turned into something new and vital.

I am a mother of 2. They are my inspiration, motivation, and sometimes my procrastination. I enjoy working with my hands and being creative. I love playing music, traveling, and taking in the world around.

CELTIC STEAM

Elements of a medieval Celtic style, a feel of our industrial past, and a neo-Victorian decadence. Here you will find a little of everything. I strive to recycle and "up" cycle different objects. I work in yarn, silverware, acrylic, glass, gems, fabric, paper....and junk.

KIKI'S CAULDRON

Hand-crafted essential oils- a proprietary blend of essential, fragrance, and carrier oils. They are hand blended and created from original recipes (though some are inspired by research recipes).

KRAPHTI KREATIONS

Self taught mixed media artist and crafter that enjoys playing with textures and colors. My favorite medium is polymer clay and many of my creations feature a faux version of the ancient metalworking technique called mokume gane. We offer handmade jewelry and home decor items made from polymer clay, metal clay, semi-precious stones, glass and fine and base metals.

Random Expressions is a collective of my current crafting obsessions. I have found that there are just too many amazing ways to express myself artistically to concentrate on just one thing, hence the title of my store. Constructed mostly with up-cycled materials… and of course lots of love. Each item is one of a kind. Mother Nature is my muse.
